Atlantis artist Foots
The load out is performed with the help of friends and volunteers. The island government even chips in to make Atlantis Cayman Brac a "one of a
kind destination!"  We load the statue to our make-shift barge with the help of some very large machinery and then take it out to its dive spot. Once
we have found the location, we gently lower the statue into place. Everything is planned to precision... But sometimes you have to take what you can
get. With Bill behind the wheel (in front of the motor on the boat) we set out for the location. "I'm the crazy guy on the barge holding on for dear life!"
"When we get to our desired location, we make preparations to lower the sculpture to the sea
floor. Every effort is made to ensure the proper placement is made. Once there, we secure the
sculpture and look around at the many sculptures that surround us ...

                                                                                              "How beautiful!"
One of the largest pieces we moved and placed was the Archway of Atlantis,
the two bases alone weigh 21,000 lbs each, the Elders’ Way, a pathway lined
with 5-foot temple columns, leading to the Inner Circle of Light. The 2,600lb
Sundial on a 5,800 lb base,
actually tells you the real time!
If you're looking for a new dive site... You've found it! Cayman Brac offers
a variety of dive locations, warm water and daylight to the bottom... In most
areas. Atlantis Cayman Brac will continue to grow as the "Pyramid of
Atlantis" is added to the collection. It will be a "40,000 lb behemoth" and
will be the largest sculpture in the Lost City! We invite you to explore the
Lost City of Atlantis Cayman Brac.
